In this video I have literally dismembered Odin’s skull rites to try and find a more feasible way of incorporating the preservation, honoring, worshiping and magical uses of skulls into our seidr practice.
Mimir’ s head skull rites are probably the most thorough Norse example of the use of skulls in witchcraft, but yet again, that is not our time, and I felt to share how I made those rites more contemporary with something I call the dance of bones and skulls.
I feel the swaying and dancing of bones and skull is a fresh way to breathe life into them and make the whole bones worshiping experience more feasible.
This video will take you on a journey of how I celebrate and feel Halloween here in the land of the northern lights and midnight sun, it’s a very personal approach and I hope it can inspire many other personal approaches and journeys into the honoring of this decadent and enchanting season.
