Witchual Workout 32: Tarot – The Fool

Welcome to the Witchual Workout with Laura Tempest Zakroff – a ritually-inspired movement experience designed to get us moving a bit more on a daily basis. Each day, we’ll have a different magical focus and build up our stamina and body exploration.

Today I pulled from the Tarot and received The Fool – our first Major Arcana card in this series! The Fool is the beginning of the journey, representing newness, excitement, opportunity – but also recommends caution. So we’re focusing on footwork for this workout – which may seem just about the feet, but it involves the whole body, especially our core.

Follow along and adjust as needed, listening to your body’s needs. Since this one is short, I recommend once you’ve gone through it once, go back through to the second song and try it at least one more time!

The card featured on the thumbnail is from the Modern Witch Tarot by Lisa Sterle – which is a wonderfully fun and diverse deck. I highly recommend checking it out – such a great twist on the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

First Song: “Pythia” by Nathaniel Johnstone

Second Song: “Smyrneiko Minore” (Smyrnaean Air) – Savina Yannatou

I am the wackerdoodle who birthed Pagan Nation some 30ish years ago as a BBS, moved it on line some 20ish years ago, and have re-birthed it October 31st, 2021.  I've got a rail buggy and a dog.  Who could ask for more?
